New York Times to set up digital hub in London

Museum Street

US newspaper company New York Times plan to move 100 staff into refurbished UK headquarters shown above. It is simply believed that London is a more appropriate place from which to cover the European continent, some staff will also be relocating from the Paris hub. They are renting out a 9,000 sq ft building in Bloomsbury, with an asking rental fee of £50 a sq ft. Similarly The Guardian also has expansion plans for its own office in New York, which was opened in 2011.
This shows me that the traditional newspapers are expanding in order to have a international hub, showing me that the demand for this is high as a large sum of rental fee is being paid in order to rent the property.
